Female Novice Division (for girls 8 and under)
Hockey Winnipeg Female Council will be hosting a professionally run skate for Novice aged girls. We are pleased to once again have Billy Keane oversee an hour of fun and development.
Want to see what female hockey has to offer?  Never problem!
Come for a fun “Skate and Educate” at the MTS Iceplex on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm or 6:40 – 7:40 pm OR
Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm or 6:45 -7:45 pm.
Full equipment is required.  Enrolment is limited to females 8 and under.

Enrolment will be accepted on a first come basis and will be limited to those who are not currently playing in the Female Novice League. To register, please contact the Hockey Winnipeg office at , indicating the player’s first and last name, home address, home community club and phone number. If you require further information on the novice program or “skate and educate” please contact the Hockey Winnipeg Office through the email listed above.

Mandatory before Registering with Club

Hockey Canada Registration will begin on August 1st, 2017 and will close on September 15 th, 2017.


To play hockey within Winnnipeg, you MUST register through the Hockey Canada  Registry FIRST before you can register with your community clubs and proceed there with payment. 

After August 1, click on the Online Registration tab above and proceed to register your child/ren for hockey.  There is no fee to obtain your Hockey Canada Registration number.

Before you begin the registration process, please make sure you have completed the following:

 - The parent registering the child/ren has completed the Respect In Sport Parent Program and you have your certification number for registering with your community club. If you have taken this already, you do not need to take it again.

Hockey Winnipeg announced the implementation of a mandatory



This on-line course must be completed prior to your son/daughter being registered on a team within Hockey Canada. Instructions for registration are linked below.
There is a $12.00 fee for this mandatory program


Note: Even if you have a Respect-In-Sport registration number as a coach, manager, safety person you must complete the RIS Parent as well.

Use TMHA Site to Manage Your Team!

Team managers are encouraged to use the TMHA site to manage and organize their team's activities. Create a Sport Ngin account and register as a member to have full access to post team schedules, rosters, photos, videos and stats. It's free and is a useful tool, comparable to Team Snap. Once you have registered contact Colin via email to finalize your access.
