TMHA Pre Season Camp 2019 Information
We have partnered with The Rink again for our Fall Pre Season Camps.
Camps cost $145.00 per camp
If you sign up for 2 camps at the same time by June 1st, $25 discount will be applied!
Week #1: August 19th - August 22nd
MALE | RINK 1
Group 1: POWER SKATING (2010-2012) 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Group 2: SHOOTING/SCORING (2010-2012) 6:45pm- 7:45pm
Group 3: SHOOTING/SCORING ( 2009-2006) 8:00pm- 9:00pm
FEMALE | RINK 2
Group 1: POWER SKATING (ages 7-11) 6:15pm - 7:15pm
Group 2: SKILLS (ages 8-11) 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Group 3: BATTLE & COMPETE (ages 13-16) 8:45pm - 9:45pm
Week #2: August 26th - August 29th

Group 1: SKILLS (2011-2009) Passing/ Puck Handling / Shooting
5:30pm – 6:30pm
Group 2: SKILLS (2008-2005) Passing / Puck Handling / Shooting

Group 3: BATTLE & COMPETE (2009-2006) Puck Protection / Battles on the Boards / Intro to Body Contact

Group 1: SHOOTING/SCORING (8-11) In Tight Scoring / Wrist Shots / Quick Release
6:00pm – 7:00pm
Group 2: SHOOTING/SCORING (12-16) In Tight Scoring / Wrist Shots / Quick Release
7:15pm - 8:15pm
Group 3: BODY CONTACT (13-16) Angling / Checking / Receiving Contact
8:30pm – 9:30pm
The Transcona Preseason Camps are conducted out of East End Arena at 517 Pandora Ave E, Winnipeg, MB R2C 0A5, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
We will be accepting a total of 18 athletes/group to participate in each of these programs. Players should be motivated & willing to compete against other players at a high level.

This year we are doing try outs different. Evaluations will be done for try outs.
Your age group will be starting try outs all at the same time or could be 2 groups depending on your age group numbers. We are not doing tryouts with A1 A2 A3 rounds. You will go through the skates and at the end you will be emailed what team you will be on. No letters will be given out.
There will be 3 to 4 evaluators out evaluating the kids. Groups were selected randomly. The process involves the kids being evaluated on there skating, passing, puck handling, shooting and game play. They will be ranked to a number system and then that will determine what team they will play. After the final skate(24 to 48 hrs), kids will be notified to which team they will be on.
