A Hockey
A Hockey is organized into two levels.
- A Hockey -East Leaque (8 yrs to 10 yrs)
- A Hockey - Direct Entry (11 yrs and up)
For both levels teams are formed according to Hockey Winnipeg rules based upon the number of children registered at each age division. The number of registered players and the minimum/maximum roster size determines the number of teams to be entered. The number of teams entered then determines the number of teams at the A1, A2, and A3 level of play.
Team Categories are as follows:
- U9 A (players 7 & 8 years old)
- U11 A1 A, A1 B, A2 A, A2 B, A3 (players 9 & 10 years old)
- U13 A1, A2 A, A2 B (players 11 & 12 years old)
- U15 A1 A, A1 B, A2 A, A2 B, A3 (players 13 & 14 years old)
- U18 A1 A, A1 B, A2 A, A2 B (players 15, 16 & 17 years old)
